Sydney New Year's Eve 2014–15

Sydney New Year's Eve 2014–15 or known as 2014 SYDNYE was the 20th Sydney New Year's Eve held in Sydney Harbour on the evening of 31 December 2014 and in the early hours of 1 January 2015. It was the second time ABC broadcast the event on the public television. The theme was revealed as "Inspire" and the creative ambassador of this year's event is Jack Thompson.〔http://www.sydneymedia.com.au/screen-legend-inspires-a-cracker-night-for-nye14〕
The show's budget is reported to have increased from $6.8 million to $7.2 million. Throughout the night, "inspiring" messages from Twitter users via the hashtag "#SydNYE" were projected onto the pylons of the bridge.
